| Thorpe United Under 9's received a donation from the Yorkshire Building Society Charitable Foundation, the league table toppers manager (Sean Littlefield) was presented with the cheque by Yorkshire Building Society Selby Branch Manager Christine Van Leeuwen & customer adviser Nicki Armstrong. The funding is to be used to buy equipment for the team as they push for another league title. Thorpe United were nominated for the donation by Martin Webster who works for the Yorkshire Building Society & lives in Thorpe Willoughby. The Yorkshire Building Society Charitable Foundation are the focal point of Yorkshire Building Society's charitable giving, providing financial help to good causes where the Society's members and staff live and work. |
