Welcome to Thorpe United under 16's.

After a very exciting season last year the team and I , are looking forward to what we hope will be yet another successful and enjoyable journey in their final season in junior football. Once again we will be aiming high and with the league title so close last year we can only hope that our renewed efforts will be good enough to bring the prize once again back to Field Lane . In the cups we find ourselves the added attraction of the Barkston Ash Cup to accompany our annual interest in the York F.A. and the York League Cups. The team has set its self very high standards last season and with this in mind pre-season games against the Barkston Ash District side and York City are fixtures that will allow the players to prove how much they have progressed as footballer. As always may I wish all players, parents, friends and all who come to support the side, the best of seasons and ask for their help in making sure that the highest possible sporting standards are maintained.
